Stiffness and Deformation Analysis of Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) Panels Made of Nordic Spruce Based on Experimental Testing, Analytical Calculation and Numerical Modeling

Timber structures are currently more important for solving tasks in construction practice. For this reason, there is an opportunity research the area of physical tests and numerical models. This paper deals with determination comparison deformation properties cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels based on laboratory tests, analytical calculation modeling. CLT structural building components consisting cross-oriented solid layers. Three types different geometry number layers (three, five seven) were experimentally tested using a four-point bending test, where load–deformation curves recorded. The results experimental testing three-layer subsequently compared model SCIA Engineer, ANSYS Workbench calculation. shows good agreement behavior between according to standard two approaches analysis.
